Water Is Life Expo @ Lakeside Middle School

The Sixth annual Water Is Life Expo will be held at the 2017 Little Elm ISD Back to School Bash at Lakeside Middle School on Saturday, August 5th, from 9:00am until 1:00pm.  Public Works has been providing Water Conservation education at our Town Expo events and this will be our 2nd year to join LEISD and local businesses in this inspirational event for the community.

We will have Water Conservation personnel as well as Solid Waste & Recycling individuals on hand to answer questions on; Drought Conditions, Conversation Stages, Waste Reduction, Litter Control, Stormwater Drainage and other important issues.  As with all of our events our friends from Keep Little Elm Beautiful will also join us with additional information regarding upcoming cleanup events that you can be a part of here in town.

This event will be fun for the whole family!

The second annual Little Elm ISD Back to School Bash and Health Fair will be held on Saturday, August 5, 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Lakeside Middle School. The Bash will give parents and students a chance to get ready for the upcoming school year. The event is free. All District families and community members are welcome.

Besides providing a great vendor fair for our Lobo Community, the Bash will feature information booths for all nine LEISD campuses providing details about school supplies, after-school care programs, clubs and activities, PTA membership, and more.

The event also assists families with limited resources so all kids can start the school year with a smile on their faces! The goal this year is to provide nearly 600 children in need with a backpack containing the supplies necessary for a successful start to the school year.

Stuffed backpacks will be delivered directly to the event - DONATE NOW!

The Bash includes: vision and health screenings, booths featuring local businesses and health service providers, entertainment from school groups, and family and kids activities.

Thank you for helping our students start the new school year prepared to learn!
